Abstract
Recent demands for high power density power converters operating at high switching frequencies has led to the introduction of resonant-mode technologies in power converter design. The author presents a discussion of the use of such technologies for off-line power conversion. Available off-line resonant mode techniques and topologies are given and the topologies are categorised according to their characteristic advantages and disadvantages
