Abstract :
This paper is mainly concerned with the numerical solution of scattering problems and eigenvalue problems. A hybrid approach to the Least-Squares Boundary Residual Method (LSBRM) based on least-square error minimization with a discreted integration technique is developed successfully for the analysis of scattering characteristics and transmission characteristics. Many results of the computations are presented in the form of curves and the quanties for the curves are normalized for general use. In the work a further study for the LSBRM is also made. To confirm the correctness of the approach and program some checks are carefully considered.
