Abstract :
The following topics were dealt with: CADMAT integrated approach to a foundation course for electronic engineering with computer aided design; synthesis of op-amp based active-RC networks using a parallel path approach; the Nibbler microprocessor teaching project for VLSI fabrication; a power engineering course with CAD and computer based simulation; industrial CAD in an educational course in industrial robotics and lastly the integration of CAD into power electronics courses, particularly PSICE to aid power switching circuit education
