Abstract :
BSI Quality Assurance is the certification business of the British Standards Institution. They believe that they are the largest and most active third-party certification body in the world. The author describes the role of BSI QA in software quality assurance and in the TickIT software certification scheme. He also examines the involvement of BSI QA in the establishment of accreditation criteria for certification of software developers
