Abstract
Examines the results of a series of studies undertaken in Scotland during 1990-91. These studies have been concerned with establishing both the broad range of policy issues which confront the provision of telecommunications in Scotland and the specific issues surrounding the interrelationships between telecommunications services delivery and the economic development of a specific locality. The basic data on the use of services is set out in a table. Other data collected on use sought to define numbers of exchange lines standardised by the employment size of firms and expenditure on telecommunications services
