Abstract :
The author describes work done in building a set of support tools for analysis using simulation software to diagnose turbogenerator faults. SPAR is a suite of five rotor dynamics programs designed to simulate the response of turbogenerators to a range of physical faults. The system described is essentially complete except for the elements involving machine learning, these are under development
