  • Abstract
    The authors describe a switched-capacitor approach to battery balancing which is based on the elementary mechanism of charge redistribution, and appears to be the simplest way among all known passive and active methods. They also detail how switched-capacitor power electronic equalizers offer many advantages over other techniques
