  • Abstract
Transmission-line modelling (TLM) is a time-domain, differential numerical technique for simulating electromagnetic and other field problems. The development of the method from the original work by Johns (1971) to the present day is outlined. The emphasis is on setting out the method in its context and bringing out its advantages, limitations and capabilities
