Abstract :
Describes a simple model for acoustic wave propagation in water. The model may be used for the analysis of radiation patterns of transducer arrays, beam forming and ray tracing techniques. The paper also introduces a simple model for the analysis of compressional waves in 2D solid structures for transducer design applications
