Abstract :
The uniform asymptotic theory (UAT) of diffraction for a half plane with two face impedance has been applied to arrive at expressions valid for both near as well as far field patterns of dielectric loaded and imperfect horns, it is found that the theory predicts the patterns correctly. The same formulation is valid for near as well as far fields with the pertinent values of radial distances.
