Abstract :
In existing induction accelerators, particles are focused either with azimuthally-symmetrical or azimuthally-periodic control magnetic fields. Modulation of azimuthally-symmetrical control magnet field both in axial and radial directions can provide much wider employment of them in accelerating engineering. Analytical description of a controlling magnet field provides more accurate definition of accelerator parameters, much smaller volume of physical simulation and much simpler adjustment of an accelerator to a radiation peak
