Abstract :
The authors examine the use of presently available Spatial Light Modulators (SLM´s) to record computer generated holograms, and techniques to improve the performance of the holograms generated. Simulations of a holographically routed crossbar switch are carried out, and these provide insight into the problems with such holograms
