Abstract
The paper presents the geolocation is the art of innovative combination of properties of nature and sensor technology. The particle filter provides a general method for geolocation. Geolocation fingerprinting is a general concept for fitting a measurement (along a trajectory) to a geographical information system. Geolocation is equal to map plus measurement plus method.
