Abstract
The author presents the results of an investigation into the long term stability of the response of a number of different types of silicon photodiode. The study aimed to quantify the ageing of the spectral responsivity of silicon photodiodes and where possible identify parameters that contributed to any instability. Five types of commercially available photovoltaic silicon photodiodes were chosen and twenty diodes of each type were monitored
