Producing ISDN for an international market and interoperability with other suppliers

The author discusses several aspects of products which need to be standardised throughout the world for interoperability. These include: connectors, interfaces, power supplies, protocols, terminal intelligence and command sets. He concludes that at present, the best that can be hoped for with all the different standards is voice communication
