Abstract :
Different methods of testing have been applied to analyse urolithaisis: clinical, laboratory, rontgenological, ultrasonic, and radioisotope techniques. However, none of these methods gives information on the morphology and elemental composition of urolites. Broad capabilities for the analysis of urolithaisis are opened with research into mineralogical and elemental composition, and ontogenetic studies of urinary stones through methods of crystallography coupled with modern computer technologies. The technique used for urinary macroconcrements study provides for the research of their morphology, mineral composition, structure and texture. The analysis is carried out over three stages
