Abstract
This work presents a progress on the interaction of cold Rb atoms with magnetic fields from domain walls in nanowires. Micromagnetic simulations show that nanowires can be utilized to create atom traps with MHz-regime frequencies. In addition, this study explores the use of domain walls in nanowires to create an atom mirror that can be switched on and off under pulsing external fields.
