Abstract :
We propose and demonstrate experimentally Coherent Direct Sequence-OCDMA en/decoders based on Super Structured FBGs which are tolerant to the fiber chromatic dispersion performing the en/decoding task in presence of GVD for a continuous range of SSMF fiber distances between 8 and 15.4 km (range of 7.4 km). The dispersion compensated en/decoders were designed into the High Reflectivity regime employing synthesis methods in order to reduce the insertion losses for each device.
