Abstract :
A theoretical study is presented of the input impedance of a circular microstrip disk antenna excited by a coaxial line. The analytical expression for the input impedance includes the coaxial-feed structure with non-uniform probe current distribution. The analysis is therefore valid for thin as well as for very thick dielectric substrates.
