Abstract :
It has an important meaning of high-speed railway´s safety to set up the intrusion clearance detection system besides the railway lines. This paper comes up with a method to detect high-speed railway´s intrusion based on binocular stereo vision. The overall structure, the camera calibration and the algorithm of intrusion clearance detection have been specifically introduced in this paper. The SAD algorithm is used in the detection system to achieve the stereo matching. The suspicious intrusion could be identified through finite difference method by the system. And the intrusion is confirmed by the space coordinates. Experimental results show this system can detect the intrusion accurately and timely.
