Abstract :
This paper examines the problem of electromagnetic scattering of a flat plate whose two faces can assume any value of surface impedance. The recently obtained UAT solution for line source by a half plane with two face impedance has been used to obtain an expression for the bistatic field of such a plate. Hence an expression for monostatic RCS has been obtained. Contributions due to surface waves have not been taken into consideration. The theoretical results are discussed. The RCS reduction due to a RAM coating is predicted.
