Abstract
The Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) Distribution Engineering Workstation (DEWorkstation) provides students with an open architecture, computer-aided engineering workstation environment for distribution system application program development and engineering studies. Some of the code was developed with the help of several graduate students. The DEWorkstation was used in undergraduate design projects and graduate research. This paper presents a description of the DEWorkstation and its use as an educational tool
