Abstract :
Summary form only given, as follows. A theory of the resonance transformation of electromagnetic waves into sound in metals in a d.c. magnetic field is developed. This resonance transformation is discovered experimentally in single tungsten crystals at frequencies of 400 - 800 MHz.
