  • Abstract
    To solve the distributed generation system (DG) voltage regulator problem, this paper introduced the thyristor voltage regulator (TVR), established a model of TVR and the DG system using Matlab-, Simulink, formulated the voltage control strategy of TVR in DG system, and combined with access position of distributed resource (DR) in the system and the load variation, to conduct a comprehensive simulation analysis. Simulation results show that in the event that the voltage support capabilities of DR are insufficient, TVR can effectively regulate the node voltage of DG system. The developed control strategies and research conclusions can offer theoretical reference for the TVR development and DG system design.
