Abstract :
With the furtherance of power industry reform, the proposal of low carbon economy and “Green GDP” development patterns have laid a good foundation for power system to deepen generation dispatching reform. On the basis of traditional generation dispatching, this paper analyzes the possibility and necessity of energy saving generation dispatching from different standpoints such as national economy, resource consuming, environment protection, etc. This paper proposes a model of energy saving generation dispatching which considers not only operating cost but also relevant social costs, and uses nonlinear complementary function to solve this model. The model is applied in a region with five thermal power plants to obtain the optimal generation dispatching schedule. Lastly, this paper discusses the benefit compensation mechanism and presents a way for the grid company to implement energy saving generation dispatching.
