  • Abstract
    In order to transform the traditional carpentry line trace mill into CNC, a new method was presented. This new method takes the technology of graphics interaction with DXF file, and can mill directly according to the workpiece surface shape data. CNC carpentry line trace mill data processing software in VC++6. 0 environment was developed which can realize arbitrary contour curves discretization and G-Code generation.The processing experiments prove that this system can simplify the machine operation, increase milling efficiency, improve quality effectively and reduce the production cost.
