  • Abstract
    In this paper, a scheme of lag observer is developed to estimate the variables of unified chaotic systems. Theoretically, the exponential stability of the lag error system can be guaranteed,and the lag estimation of the unknown variables of unified chaotic systems can be achieved. Furthermore,a scheme for secure communication is presented based on the lag observer in theory. Finally, corresponding numerical simulations are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed schemes.
