Abstract :
Recently, the problem of IP QoS (Quality of Service) is showing up as one of the most important task in internet with the advent of new applied service that need QoS like Internet broadcasting, video conference, VoIP and so on. The need for QoS also have to be applied to Ethernet network that is most prevailing protocol in LAN (Local Area Network) and a smart home network that requires constant transfer delay to transmit multimedia data. Also, users come to request the best QoS in the range of SLA (Service Level Agreement). For guarantee of QoS, there are some existing ways like Integrated Service or Differentiated Service but they have several problems in implementing to use practically, and use very complex procedure like Token Bucket in assigning the bandwidth. In this paper, we suggest velocity rate calculation method in multi-queues that is simple and easily applied for guarantee of QoS. And the performance result by OPNET simulation tool is shown that the regulated bandwidth and queuing delays is efficient and satisfied in multimedia data.
