Abstract
In this paper, a robust PID control scheme is proposed for the particleboard glue batching and dosing system using a nonlinear control design. Based on a nonlinear least squared optimization function, a set of PID parameters can be obtained such that the robust stability for the closed-loop system is guaranteed. In opposition to trial and error, the PID parameters can be obtained systematically in this study. Simulation results show that the proposed method is simple and is suitable for practical control design in the particleboard glue batching and dosing system.
