Abstract
GroupSystems strives to do for meetings what word processing does for correspondence: increase productivity electronically. GroupSystems starts with a standard business activity; namely meetings designed to gather ideas, organize them, weigh alternatives and make decisions. GroupSystems speeds the meeting process, increases productivity-and, like word processing, adds a new dimension to a familiar process. It lets you focus on ideas, rather than the people who come up with them. The commercial release of GroupSystems 4.0 expands the arena of available information technology support. Extensive research has developed this set of software tools useful to all members of an organization. GroupSystems 4.0 focuses the power of technology on one of the most costly, problematic and least effective areas encountered by people in organizations
