Abstract
The authors present an extension of previous work in transformer oil subjected to an AC voltage in point-plane geometry at gap distance up to 25 cm. Their purpose is to study the characteristics of streamer propagation over long distances, with a view to explaining the shape of the breakdown voltage curve vs gap distance
