Abstract
Thermal dispatch supporting system is developed in Shanxi Grid to overcome the problems in the field of the safety and steady operation of Shanxi Power System that resulting from the rapid increasing of the installed capacity proportion of thermal and air-cooled generating units. Real-time data acquisition and remote monitoring of the operation status of the generating unit and its desulphurization system and heating facilities are realized. Both performance calculation and economic operation analyzing & optimizing of the generating unit is achieved. The vacuum-influenced and heat-supplying-influenced unit generation capability, priority lists for the real-time dispatching, real coal-consuming characteristics and emission characteristics are obtained to provide decision-making for dispatching which coordinate the requirements of grid, power plant and the whole society.
