Abstract :
Surface processing of PTFE (polytetrafluorethylene) by gaseous discharge under high E/n conditions was studied. The results were obtained when the processing time was longer than 5 minutes. A remarkable increase of surface energy by the processing was confirmed. Surface energy was saturated, and the peak at 284 eV was increased in C1S spectra. Sample weight was decreased
