Abstract :
Aimed at the complexity of non-circular gears design and manufacturing process, according to the principles of gear connection, the pitch curve mathematical model of high-order elliptical gears is established. The pitch curve meshing characteristic and transmission ratio of high-order elliptical gears is calculated and analyzed using MATLAB software. Based on the converting tooth profile method, the gear tooth profile parameterized design, CAD graphics drawing, three-dimensional modeling, machining simulation and CNC programming of high order elliptical gears are studied with CAXA software. The processing experiments using CNC wire-cut machine prove the validity and practicability of the method. This electronic document is a "live" template.
