Abstract :
This paper provides a brief description of the basic principles of satellite thermal infrared brightness temperature anomaly and overview of the meteorological satellite, analyzes the building of the remote sensing information model for short-term and imminent earthquake prediction and indicates that this technique has the practical application prospect through 11 years of experimental prediction practice and several cases of successful earthquake prediction.
