Abstract :
Small scale tests are required from which the fire hazards posed by materials or design can be judged. A number of tests are available. Thermal imaging and the cone calorimeter operated to ASTM E5, P190 shows considerable promise and the purpose of this paper is to compare the two methods and give some illustrations of their uses and show how cables can be classified
