Abstract :
Color transfer between images is one of the most common tasks in image processing. In this paper, we present a method of color feature extraction and selection to increase the successful possibility of transferring color from color image to greyscale image. A kind of HSV quantization algorithm plays an important role in this procedure. In source image, it is used to convert three-dimensional RGB pixels into one-dimensional pixels. Thus, the pixels can be clustered if their color is similar. It will help to select sample pixels from colorful image reasonably and transfer their color information to greyscale image.
