Abstract :
The train working diagram is the base of train operation organization; it gives important influence to both the service quality to passenger and the operation costs, especially for high-speed passenger special line and intercity railway. The paper introduces the development and application of cyclic railway timetable. Then the model about the cyclic railway timetable has been summed up and constraints which ordinary model of train working diagram on existing lines didn´t involve are added. MAX-PESP has been used, and a case study has been given using CPF, MAX-PESP and the algorithm based on cycle basis. At last, the case shows: the algorithm based on cycle basis couldn´t make sure the even of the train´s departure time in the beginning station in a period, the algorithm needed proving.
