Abstract :
Security of future telecommunication missions operations is addressed by looking at three specific scenarios: fleets of collocated satellites, hosted payloads in a satellite and direct telecommunication payload control and configuration. Before addressing these scenarios, a brief introduction to the security engineering of telecommunication missions with a portfolio of relevant security concepts, techniques, mechanisms and technologies is given. Afterwards, those are applied to the scenarios. Finally, a conclusion is provided.
