  • Abstract
    There are currently several software programs that model radiowave propagation over irregular terrain. The author presents an efficient method by which one can determine the field at any point above the Earth´s surface in the presence of range-dependent atmospheric conditions. The model is based on the split-step Fourier algorithm to solve the parabolic equation. Comparisons are made against measured data and other models
