Abstract :
The synthesis and purification of the organic photoconductive material chloroaluminum phthalocyanine (ClAlPc) are described. A dual-layered photoreceptor was prepared using chloroaluminum phthalocyanine as the charge generation material and triphenylamine as the charge transport material. The xerographic properties of this negatively charged photoreceptor were measured. The results showed that it had very high charge acceptance (-1300 V), low dark decay (50 V/s), and high IR-sensitivity (E=3.0×10-5 J/cm2 , 830 nm)
