  • Abstract
The Geo-Business Intelligence or Localization Intelligence is a collection of technologies that combines Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Business Intelligence (BI) for evaluation of the results achieved, planning and decision-making. The merging of these two technologies, by connecting large amounts of data, provides a powerful visualization system able to combine useful government and enterprises information with GIS systems. We present a methodology called Smart Data Localization (SDL) to promote the development of a Decision Support Systems (DSS) based on Geo-Business Intelligence oriented for environmental and territorial data. Consequently, It will be shown how SDL encompasses efforts to improve the Quality of Life (QoL).
