Abstract :
The authors have built a system of impulse radar, and made experimental investigation of a RAM coating on the surface of metallic targets, recording their echo signal data, evaluating the impulse response of the targets, and computing the energy of scattering echo and the power spectral density. The results show that ultrawideband radar has good capabilities to combat the RAM compared with the narrowband radar
