Abstract :
A new method is described for the synthesis of antenna patterns of circular arc arrays. The method is based on the application of the simulated annealing technique to achieve the excitations of the elements for a desired radiation pattern. Design specifications include side lobe level, beam width, control of nulls, dynamic range and other parameters such as variation from starting phases.
