  • Abstract
In this paper, a control system of axially telescoping wing experimental device is investigated. The control system is composed of STC89C52 SCM, an AC servo motor and two margin micro-switches. Based on the experimental device, a new design of telescoping wing is given. Telescoping wing is a kind of morphing wing, and is represented by an axially moving cantilever beam/plate. Telescoping wing is able to change its wing area and aspect ratio in order to adapt to the variable environments. The extending and retracting of telescoping wings could accomplish different actions and meet diverse needs in variable flight environments. Thus, the research of retractable wing is of great significance for both theory study and practical application.
