Shielding effectiveness of spacecraft (European Polar Platform) CFRP panels

The authors give details of the test programme and results of the shielding effectiveness measurements made on flight representative external carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) panels of the European Polar Platform. The European Polar Platform is a large low Earth orbit Earth observation satellite currently under development as a collaborative European development for the European Space Agency (ESA).
