Abstract :
Two new biconical antenna configurations are presented for use in EMC testing. Both are smaller than the conventional biconical antennas used for this purpose, and, more importantly, they exhibit broader band performance, up to at least 750 MHz, before their antenna factors are degraded. Theoretical results obtained from moment method models are used to illustrate these characteristics
