  • Abstract
    The paper discussed research and development on new-type electric control system for boom-type roadheader. In consideration of adaptability, advancing and reliability as well as roadheader´s new functions, a design using Power Panel and PCC as controller was put forward.lt would have a series of functions, that is mine laneway section automatic forming, cutting arm constant power auto-traction speed regulation, body pose auto-detection and directional excavation, full-function remote control, and realize computer control of laneway automatic cutting and directional excavation system. The paper also discussed hardware configuration and software design of the new-type electric control system. The realization of the new-type electric control system has laid foundation for boom-type roadheader´s automatization and intelligence.
