Abstract
EMC is a topic that has largely been neglected in undergraduate educational programmes in the UK. Some aspects have appeared in different parts of electronic and electrical engineering courses, for example in classes of electromagnetic theory, circuit design, etc. but usually no attempt has been made to bring these different threads together into a cohesive treatment of the topic. To ensure that future graduates have a more coherent appreciation of the subject, it is apparent that some space has to be found in already overloaded undergraduate programmes. In addition to presenting post experience courses, Strathclyde University and Paisley College (a degree awarding Institution) have been actively considering how they can best provide undergraduate education in EMC and their initiatives and plans are discussed
