Abstract
The new tendency towards new topologies of electromagnetic devices and cost reduction requires the research of new material technologies. The present work regards the experimental analysis of magnetic powders (Insulated Iron Powder Compound (I.I.P.C.)) suitable to be adopted in several electromagnetic or electromechanical applications. The main aim was the analysis of the effects of chemical composition on the magnetic and energetic properties, as well as of the mechanical properties, of different materials very important for the electrical engineering world. Experimental confirms the potentialities of Powder Metallurgy in the electromagnetic field.
